Premier League icons and ex-England duo Ian Wright and Alan Shearer both gave a damning assessment of Callum Hudson-Odoi's performance for Chelsea away at Brighton & Hove Albion.
As has often been the case in recent weeks, Thomas Tuchel's Blues looked way off the pace as they were held to a 1-1 draw with the Seagulls for the second time in less than a month.
Morocco international Hakim Ziyech put Chelsea in front mid-way through the first-half, before Brighton's pressure eventually told and the hosts equalised bang on the hour mark courtesy of an Adam Webster bullet-header.
Chelsea's attacking performance was notably poor and while Tuchel simply put it down to fatigue, both Wright and Shearer claimed that Hudson-Odoi was one of the most guilty parties in contributing to a stagnant forward display.

The Chelsea academy graduate's worst moment of the night came when he opted against continuing what looked to be a promising attack and instead turned backwards to pass to his defence.
Shearer claimed that Hudson Odoi's reluctance to use his speed was a factor in his all-round underwhelming display.
"Hudson-Odoi I thought he had a really poor game this evening," the Newcastle legend told Premier League Productions.
"You’re looking for some energy, you’re looking for a burst of pace to go past the defender and it never happened.
"It’s his [Tuchel’s] job to sort it out because we can see it happening on the pitch, we saw it on Saturday against Manchester City, we saw it again against Brighton, it’s not a happy camp and that is one of the reasons, no doubt about it."
Wright went on to address the moment Hudson-Odoi scuppered a rare Chelsea attack, claiming he could barely believe his eyes.
"This was a perfect opportunity. Look at Lukaku, you see his arms up in he air," added the Arsenal hero.
"Hudson-Odoi in that instance, he’s got a runner outside him, he’s onside, you play it to the runner, he plays it in and Lukaku might get his goal, all of a sudden Chelsea get themselves going.
"His decision there to stop, come back and pass it all the way back, I can’t believe what I’m seeing."
Shearer went one further and claimed that the muted celebrations for Ziyech's opener suggests some dressing room disruption.
"It doesn’t look a happy camp to me,’ said the Premier League's record goal-scorer.
"Too many players waving their arms around, passing the buck, looking for excuses, nowhere near good enough in forward positions from a Chelsea point of view.
"I think he’s got issues in that Chelsea dressing room that need sorting out and need sorting out quick.
"It wouldn’t be the first time in Chelsea’s history that they’ve had issues in the dressing room and we know what happens when that occurs.
"When the ball hits the back of the net have a look at Lukaku, Hudson-Odoi, Kante, their lack of celebration, their lack of reaction, they’re walking back, heads down, there’s nothing in it."
Hudson-Odoi has endured a particularly poor season considering he operates on the flanks for the reigning European Champions.
The England U-21 star has just one goal and one assist this campaign after 14 league appearances.
