Ian Burchnall breaks silence on Notts County exit

Ian Burchnall Notts County Forest Green Rovers Dale Vince League One

Ian Burchnall has spoken for the first time after his exit from Notts County was confirmed today (Friday).

The 39-year-old has left Meadow Lane to become the head coach of newly-promoted League One side Forest Green Rovers, after the Magpies were knocked out of the National League play-offs by Grimsby Town.

Burchnall told the Forest Green Rovers club website: “I’m really delighted to sign at FGR and be part of what is an exciting chapter in the club’s history.
