"I was amazed at how much food I got for Bristol's Too Good to go"

The ‘Too Good to Go’ app was launched back in 2016 in a bid to reduce the amount of food that goes to waste each day. The scheme has worked well and become very popular, with over 200 million meals saved from going to waste by March this year.

Having never used it before, I decided I would give it a go to see what deals I could find. After downloading the app, I started to have a look at what was on offer nearby. What is quite cool is you can change your location to suit where you are at the time, so if you’ve decided to work from home one day you can set the location to your new area.

I found that the app itself was actually pretty easy to use and navigate around, which is helpful as there are so many places to choose from. Scrolling through I wanted to find the best deal I could and it wasn’t long until I found one that was rated 4.7 out of 5 and only cost £4.95- not bad.
