One of the most pathetic centrist liberal tendencies is their habit of praising their opponents. Throughout the last 20 years of American political history, the Democratic Party has been tossing meatball pitches at the Republicans, while Republicans have been sending hardball after hardball back at them with giddy abandon.
To this end, the 2024 election saw the Democrats promoting endorsements from the likes of Dick Cheney, apparently part of a quest to convince Republicans that they should vote for Kamala Harris (we all know how well that worked out).
