An Indian-origin man wrongly accused of being a pedophile in a viral online sting video has described the moment he decided to call the police, saying, “I want all the evidence to be documented immediately. Immediately.”

Akash Singhania was publicly accused in California by YouTuber Vitaly Zdorovetskiy and his team of allegedly trying to meet a 16-year-old girl. The claims turned out to be false. The confrontation was filmed and shared online. It went viral and sparked backlash.
