I went to Albert's Schloss to give its full English a try and may have found my new favourite breakfast spot.
The popular venue has established itself as a favourite on Liverpool's busy and booming Bold Street since opening in December.
The rustic, mountain-inspired style venue is primarily known for its raucous seven-day 'showtime' performances, and its Alpine-inspired menu and Bavarian bier-haus, but it's now keen to establish itself as breakfast hotspot, with Schloss twists on classic dishes.

I was keen to see what it had to offer - especially given the tough competition from surrounding venues in Liverpool's thriving city centre.
I'd never been during the daytime before and was struck by its calming atmosphere and vast yet intimate set-up. It boasts stylish yet cosy wooden beams across the ceiling, which frame an impressive roof lantern that floods the restaurant with light.
There's a variety of seating options, with snug booths, sumptuous bar stools and on-trend black bar seats for those wishing to sit around a cook station.
The venue is reminiscent of a log cabin, only with all the modern, luxurious touches and conveniences expected from a bar and restaurant. It also manages to flow seamlessly from season to season - something I’d not expected from a venue that seemed so perfect for wintertime.
It's often packed to the rafters of an evening, so I wasn't sure I'd enjoy a peaceful visit for breakfast but was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. It was still busy, but it was calm and I immediately felt relaxed upon being seated.
The menu is impressive, and I was torn over what to choose but in the end, both my friend and I opted for the Veggie Cook Haus Breakfast (£9.50) which includes 'Moving Mountains' sausage, smashed avocado, Burford brown egg, a roasted Portobello mushroom, baked beans, a hash brown, roast tomato and Pain de Mie toast. It was a generous serving, and beautifully presented.
The eggs were delightfully runny; the mushroom was sweet and salty; the avocado was fresh, zesty and packed with flavour; and the sausages were convincingly meaty enough that for a split second, I worried our order was wrong.
My only complaint would be there was only one hash brown - I adore hash browns and think all the best breakfasts have two, but that's me being exceptionally fussy because this breakfast was truly glorious.
I was full for hours afterwards, and it really set me up for a day of running errands and getting some life admin sorted. I will definitely be back and can't wait to try some of the other breakfast items on Albert's Schloss' decent menu.
Breakfast is available seven days a week and includes the Schloss breakfast bagel, classic cook haus breakfast, the 'Kroissant Royale', pancakes, and much more. Albert's Schloss' in-haus bakery also creates a variety of mouth-watering baked goods, with the menu changing on a daily basis. Options include artisan pastries, cinnamon buns and pretzels.
Albert's Schloss can be found at Radiant House, 18-26 Bold Street, Liverpool, L1 4DS. To make a booking, click here.
