I tested the TCL QM7L — and it’s my top Mini-LED TV value of the year

TCL QM7L 75-inch TV on a desk.

TCL has established a well-earned rep for delivering bright, colorful TVs without the big price tag. That’s exactly why I was excited when the new, affordably priced QM7L showed up in the Tom’s Guide labs.

The QM7L ($1,499 as tested for 75-inch) aims to distinguish itself from its predecessor with the company’s new Super Quantum Dot (SQD) Mini-LED technology that delivers brighter, more-accurate out-of-the-box color than what you'll usually see on regular QLED TVs from rival brands.
