'I'm certain I'm not playing again': Tom Brady

Legendary quarterback Tom Brady emphasised his commitment to staying retired from professional football, putting an end to the speculations surrounding a potential comeback.

"I'm certain I'm not playing again. So I've tried to make that clear, and I hate to continue to profess that because I've already told people that lots of times," Brady stated firmly in a recent interview with Sports Illustrated.

Rumours began to circulate earlier this week after reports surfaced claiming that the seven-time Super Bowl champion had finalised a deal to acquire a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders. However, Brady dismissed these rumours and clarified his current priorities.

"I'm looking forward to my broadcasting job at Fox next year. I'm looking forward to the opportunity ahead with the Raiders, and we're in the process of that along with the other different things that I'm a part of professionally and in my personal life," Brady explained. He emphasised his focus on spending quality time with his children and supporting their endeavours.

Brady recently signed a 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox Sports, which is set to commence in 2024. This broadcasting venture represents an exciting new chapter in his post-football career.

The 45-year-old quarterback retired from the NFL on February 1 after an illustrious 23-year career. Throughout his tenure with the New England Patriots (2000-2019) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2020-2022), Brady achieved numerous records, including the most wins by a quarterback (251), the most Super Bowl victories, the highest passing yards (89,214), and the most passing touchdowns (649).
