I'm a Celebrity fans say they've 'complained to Ofcom' after a scene on the ITV show which saw Matt Hancock take his first shower in the jungle. The 44-year-old was washing his face and body in a rock pool after taking part in a challenge with comedian and co-star Seann Walsh, reports The Sun.
However, viewers said they weren't impressed with the shower scene and that they'd complained to Ofcom, the broadcasting regulator. “Made a complaint to Ofcom for the first and only time in my life tonight. I should not be left in tears at the end of an entertainment show,” one person said.
Another said: “Ofcom, I want to make a complaint. I’ve just seen Matt Hancock showering.” A third wrote: “This is an official Ofcom complaint WHY have I just seen Matt Hancock in the shower.” While a fourth added: “Upset that I had to see Matt Hancock like that.”

However, there has been even more controversy and Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway questioned whether the former Health Secretary was allowed to have used the rock pool. “I'm not sure if you're supposed to go into the pond with soap actually," said the 55-year-old on the breakfast show, a former campmate on I'm a Celeb. "That's like a natural thing - I think you're supposed to get in the jungle bath or shower."
Hancock's arrival in camp has caused quite a stir and Boy George threatened to quit the show, saying his mum had been ill in hospital during the pandemic, in disdain over Hancock's behaviour during the period in question.
I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! continues on ITV at 9pm on Friday (November 11).
