I'm a Celebrity's Helen Flanagan 'had a huge crush' on one Corrie co-star

Helen Flanagan has returned to I'm a Celebrity... after her first stint in 2012.

The former Coronation Street actress has vowed to "do better" this time around, after being known for being squeamish and ducking out of a number of trials the first time. She said she has her daughters watching and wants to do them proud.

Helen has recently split from Bristol Rovers footballer Scott Sinclair after more than a decade together. They also share three children.

And while Helen has had just the one long-term relationship, at least that the public knows about, her on-screen character Rosie Webster was connected to a number of partners in the ITV soap.

She has even admitted to having a huge crush on one of her on-screen boyfriends. Rosie was linked to Jason Grimshaw, Gary Windass, and even serial killer John Stape.

But it was her first love, Craig Harris, or rather the actor who plays him, who caught Helen's eye. She previously told Star magazine: "Oh, I don’t mind saying, when I was younger, I had to work with Richard Fleeshman, who played my boyfriend on the show, and I had a massive crush on him. Huge!"

She added: "He’s so nice and so beautiful, and I had this huge, painful crush on him. I think all the girls did though because he is so, so charming and stuff.”

However, she said that unlike Rosie, she had to keep her feelings to herself as at the time he was going out with Emmerdale star Roxanne Pallett.
