I'm a Celebrity saw fifth celeb, Babatúndé Aléshé, leave the camp on Wednesday (November 23) and as the remaining campmates were gutted to see him go and wished him well, Matt Hancock made a request that might not strictly be within the rules.
While it appeared that the serving MP and former health secretary was telling Babatúndé how much he admired him, he was actually getting the comic to pass on a message to his other half in the outside world.
While the likes of Jill Scott and Owen Warner looked absolutely gutted to be seeing Babatunde go, and Mike Tindall rushed to console him, as Hancock went to hug him, the MP was overheard saying: "Oh you are so wonderful," before adding: "Will you say that to Gina?"
His request, which definitely teeters on I'm A Celebrity 'rule break' territory, was to get a message to Gina Coladangelo, the woman Hancock was infamously captured cheating on his wife with in his ministerial office, while the country was subject to strict Covid restrictions on social contact with people outside of your own household.
Hancock said early into his stint on I'm A Celebrity that he made a mistake because he "fell in love," a statement that was not well received b many viewers at home, still reeling at his flouting of his own guidance and grieving for loved ones they lost during the pandemic.
It did seem, though, that Babatúndé himself wasn't so gutted to leave, saying he enjoyed his time in the jungle but "needed his freedom back" and was ready to leave. He also accidentally chucked his Champagne everywhere immediately after leaving camp when joining Ant and Dec and had to be given a fresh glass. Read more on that, here.
