Helen Flanagan has surprised viewers, not to mention hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, on this 'legends' series of I'm A Celebrity ...Get Me Out Of Here! set in South Africa. Coronation Street star Helen, who previously had a rocky time when she took part in the 12th series of I'm A Celebrity back in 2012, left viewers gobsmacked with her first challenge to get into the camp.
The Rosie Webster actress, 32, leapt across giant balls suspended in the air as part of the Newton's Cradle challenge. She took a breath and had fans seriously impressed with her pluck despite not reaching the star at the end.
Telling cricket star Phil Tufnell and ex-javelin thrower Fatima Whitbread that she was having a 'mind chat' she reassured herself while suspended in the air. "You are safe. You are calm, you can do this. Wait for the wind to calm down and jump," she said.

Back in 2012 it wasn't a fun couple of weeks for Helen as she was voted by the British public to take part in seven bushtucker trials in a row. But those times are now firmly behind her as Ant asked: "What's happened? What's changed?"
She stepped up to confidently take part in the ‘World’s End’ challenge to climb a tower suspended over the edge of a mountain 1,100 metres high. Toff told Helen: "You’ve got to do better this time. Sorry to be savage, but you have to."
When asked how she was feeling about the trial Helen, who took part with Amir Khan and Myleen Klass, shocked Ant and Dec again when she said: "I am really scared but guys but I’m not going to let you down, I’m going to do it.” And the mum-of-three triumphed again, bringing back the full set of 11 possible stars to feed the camp with her campmates.
@zBxDoctor gasped: "Not Toff just telling Helen to do better." @JenSmith_x tweeted: "‘You have to do better!’ Alright Toff chill out babe." And @upsteadkidd asked: "Why is Toff saying that to Helen??"
@hollycarruthers said in disbelief: "Toff saying Helen needs to be better." And @Shannon_xoxo ranted: "''No offence but you have to do better.' Helen is actually trying this time round. If she doesn't do well but puts the effort in then that's all anyone can ask!"
When they returned to camp Toff was delighted to hear how well they had done and said proudly: "I could have cried when I saw Helen's face." @teenamassam tweeted: "Toff feeling proud of Helen, cute…"
