Babatunde Aléshé has been the fifth celebrity to leave I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2022.
The Celebrity Gogglebox star survived 19 days in the jungle before being axed in the fifth public vote. It was between the comedian and Radio DJ Chris Moyles in the bottom two, before Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly announced who would be leaving.
As the result came in, the Babatunde said his goodbyes to his fellow campmates before he walked across the iconic I'm A Celebrity bridge. Just days before the live final, scheduled to air this coming Sunday, the campmates waved goodbye to another star - with seven of them now remaining in camp.
On leaving them, he thanked his new friends for his time on the show and said it was "the best experience he had ever had". The comedian had the presenters in stitches laughing just minutes into his exit interview, as he spilled a glass of champagne over himself.
Babatunde told Ant and Dec he wanted Owen Warner to win the show, calling the actor his "closest friend" in camp.
The comedian also revealed he was surprised how different it was doing the show to watching it as a viewer, telling the pair: "Living in it is a whole different experience."
Babatunde joins Boy George, Scarlette Douglas, Sue Cleaver and Charlene White who have already exited the show and will be remaining in Australia until the show ends on Sunday night.
Viewers took to Twitter after the shocking elimination. One wrote: "Sad to see Babatunde go, I’ve enjoyed watching him a key part of the camp this year for me. #ImACeleb "
Another penned: "How are #Matt and #Chris still in and #Babatunde is out? #ImACelebrityGetMeOutOfHere," while a third said: "I thought Babatunde would have stayed longer than this #ImACeleb "
"Feel like s**t, just want babatunde back in the jungle #ImACeleb," said a fourth.
