I'm A Celeb's Sue Cleaver tells Mike Tindall tearfully: 'I don't want to sleep with you'

The strains and stresses of jungle life became a bit too much for Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver, who broke down to the I'm A Celeb camp's spiritual father - and growing fan favourite - Mike Tindall. In a warming exchange, bunkmate Sue tearfully told the former Gloucester rugby captain: "I don't want to sleep with you."

After the usual spider-in-the-toilet antics, as well as a brief discussion about whether "hands were just arms on the end of your arms", the team was told that no one would be leaving that day, causing Chris Moyles and Mike to embrace.

But the relentless pace of the recent challenges and jungle evictions had made Sue long for home, who broke down to the Bush Telegraph diary room, saying "I'm homesick, I'm tired, I've hit a wall," before breaking down.

Camp leader Mike was quick to notice Sue's change in mood and went to their shared cabin to find out what was wrong, but found that he, or at least their sleeping arrangement, was part of Sue's homesickness.

Sat on a bunk, Sue said to Zara Phillips' husband: "I'm just having a moment, that's all. Just one of those mornings, I don't want to do a challenge, I don't want to eat the s***. I don't want to sleep with you."

To which Mike, speaking earnestly, said: "Just think how Zara feels." Quick to comfort his friend and camp mate, Mike joked: "I'll look after you, I just didn't think it was that traumatic seeing me in my pants." Sue didn't disagree.

And that was just the emotional starter to his revolting main course, a challenge where he had to drink included a "vomit fruit" drink and a blended duck's tongue. Though as a former pro rugby player, he has probably drunk worse.
