Matt Hancock's girlfriend appeared to take a little dig at him in a letter she penned to camp on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! on Sunday night.
Gina Coladangelo flew Down Under last week as the ITV reality programme starts to draw to a close as she awaits on the eviction of her former health secretary lover.
Former Lioness Jill Scott read out the Tory MPs letter from Gina, in which she mocks his dancing. The pair hit headlines back in 2021 when a picture of them kissing emerged.
The picture sparked fury and after being accused of breaking his own Covid rules during his liaison with Gina, he resigned as Health Secretary.
In the letter, even Gina couldn't resist a dig at the MP after she praised him for conquering some of his fears, writes The Mirror.
"Dear Matt, wow watching you in the jungle has been quite the experience. We are particularly impressed that you conquered your fear of snakes. We are less sure about the dancing," she said in the letter.
She added: "Although we saw that you almost got the electric slide thanks to Scarlette. Gina xxxxx”
Matt Hancock's affair with Gina Coladangelo became public knowledge in 2021, just as it also came to light that Hancock had broken his own Covid lockdown rules – leading to his resignation as the Health Secretary.
During his time in the jungle, Mr Hancock had spoken about his affair - and also revealed Gina would be the one who'd be greeting him on the infamous I'm A Celebrity bridge when he finally leaves camp.
Speaking to campmate Babatúndé Aléshé, Hancock revealed all on the moment he messed up, and the moment his affair was exposed - to which he said: "It’s no excuse but I fell in love."
"It was really tough," Matt said, to which Babatúndé replied: "Because you messed up." Matt then went on to explain, insisting: "I messed up and I fessed up. I resigned and it’s no excuse but I fell in love, right? That also had a lot of other consequences obviously."
"You didn’t just ‘fell in love’ you were grabbing booty bruv!" Babatunde then told him, leaving Matt to reply back: "Oh give over."
He concluded: "That’s been hard, I obviously brought it on myself, so yeah… it’s been tough." And asked if they were still together, he added: "With Gina? Yeah very much so, yeah, totally. That’ll be the best thing about being kicked out, seeing her on the bridge."
The affair was exposed after Hancock was caught on CCTV with Gina. It was believed that someone from the Department of Health leaked the image. At the time, both Hancock and Coladangelo were married with children.
