I'm A Celeb's Jack Maynard has revealed he was rushed to hospital for urgent surgery.
Sharing a pic from his hospital bed, wearing a face mask, Jack flashed the peace sign as he thanked fans for their concern.
The SAS star, 27, who is the brother of chart-topper Connor Maynard, suffered from appendicitis "out of the blue".
He wrote: “Finally back home resting up, being pampered.
“For those asking, I got appendicitis out of the blue & had to get it removed straight away.
“Surgery all went fine, no issues, spent a couple of night in hospital & now at home recovering.”
"Thanks again guys.”
Jack had to leave I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2017 following allegations of racist and homophobic slurs.
Ahead of his I'm A Celeb debut, Jack's rep confirmed the YouTuber had deleted many of those tweets, adding the YouTuber was deeply regretful of his behaviour.
The vlogger's spokesperson later released a statement which said that Jack would have to leave the reality show in order to defend the accusations that were made against him.
Following the fallout, the influencer broke his silence in an emotional YouTube video.
Speaking on his 23rd birthday, Jack apologised for any hurt he'd caused, admitting he was "ashamed" of the things he'd tweeted on social media.
Looking depleted, he said: "I never wanted to make anything like this, I feel like I’ve let you guys down so much, I was young, I was stupid, I was careless I just wasn’t thinking."
The vlogger later starred in the second series of Celebrity SAS in 2020.
Speaking about his time on the show, Jack said: “I was so happy, because I felt so good in myself mentally. I really felt like I kind of gained that confidence back because I had that feeling of if I can go completely out of my comfort zone, in a way like my worst nightmare, and do that as well as I feel I did, I can put my mind and do anything."
