I'm A Celeb's Chris Moyles looks unrecognisable before incredible 6 stone weight loss transformation

I'm A Celeb's Chris Moyles achieved an incredible six stone weight loss in recent years after he decided to overhaul his unhealthy lifestyle.

After entering the Australian jungle on Sunday, the radio DJ opened up on his weight loss journey to his fellow campmates.

Chris admitted to the other celebrities: "I once bought a microwavable kebab.

"From what I remember, it tasted alright. But back then, I was eating all sorts of crap.

"I didn't necessarily eat a lot, but what I did eat was all bad. All bad."

Charlene White was intrigued and wanted to know how Chris turned things around and lost weight, reports Express.

He said: "A mixture of things. I climbed Kili [Mount Kilimanjaro in 2009]. I was 17.5stone at Christmas, and we were climbing in March. I got down to 16 [before we went].

"Climbed Kili and lost a stone in a week. I sat at 15 [stone] for ages, and I had a trainer, and one day I just went, 'it's a waste of time this training, I'm not losing any weight,' and he just barked at me, 'that's because your diet's s***!'

"So we had a big chat… I fell down to 12 stone really quickly. 10 years ago [that was]."

Since climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, Chris' weight loss journey has not been easy.

In 2021, he told Ross Kemp on his podcast how he had lost weight during lockdown.

Before lockdown, Chris would train for an hour a day, several times a week.

It would "depend on how fat I was feeling", Chris admitted.

He went on to admit how he has always struggled with the way he looks: "I'm fascinated by body dysmorphia because I really have an issue with body dysmorphia, which I think most people do.

"I've lost six stone from my worst weight when I was 18 stone."

He also spoke about his relationship with his body: "I know my body really well now, and I'm still learning. I don't have the metabolism of an 18-year-old girl or boy, I just don't."

Chris said he weighs himself six days a week to understand how his body works and also trains five days a week.

His exercise includes three cardio sessions, one run and a free weights session.

In terms of diet, he is careful about what he consumes and follows the intermittent fasting diet with a 2,000-calorie limit - 500 less than the recommended daily amount for a male.

After rumours speculation whether Chris had weight loss surgery in 2017, he quickly responded: "I have never even heard of this product, let alone used it. I don't want people reading this and thinking that's how I lost weight. So here, from my tiny mouth, is the truth.

"I stopped buying bread. Dramatically cut my lager intake. Started eating better food... Trained regularly. That's it. I just wanted you to know I didn't use any supplements."
