Manchester United fans have been left livid after finding out that Lisandro Martinez has been dropped to the bench for Argentina's World Cup semi-final with Croatia on Tuesday night.
Martinez has quickly become a star at Old Trafford since arriving from Ajax in the summer. Despite a difficult start where his height came into question, the 24-year-old put in a mammoth performance against Liverpool and has not looked back since.
His form for the Reds earned him a place in the Argentina squad for the World Cup. However, on several occasions this tournament, he has not featured for the South American side.
