'I helped a stranger catch her cheating boyfriend - he told me he was single'

A woman who was approached by a stranger to help her catch her cheating boyfriend has revealed she had successful results - with the man insisting he was single despite having been in a relationship for three years.

The woman, named Trinity, posted a video on TikTok in which she revealed she had another woman message her on Instagram to ask if she would help uncover her boyfriend's infidelity.

She claimed in her message that her boyfriend had recently started following "so many girls" on Instagram and it had made her suspicious, so she hired Trinity to follow him back and strike up a conversation to see if he would flirt with her.

And the man did much more than just flirt - as he told Trinity he was single.

In her video, the woman - who posts under the username @trinitykayh - shared the initial message she received, which read: “I’ve been with my boyfriend for three years and he’s never given a reason for me to suspect him until recently he’s been adding so many girls on Instagram and is telling me they are just friends.

“We plan on getting engaged in April and I don’t want to make a huge mistake and ruin my life if he’s talking to other girls.

“Can you please do a loyalty test for me?’”

After agreeing to message the bloke, Trinity sent him a quick DM to say hi, and he responded immediately - to which the woman then told him he looked "super cute".

The pair then chatted about their hometowns, and the man flirtatiously told her he would have to "take her to Miami" as she claimed she'd never been.

Trinity then asked him if he was single, and he said: "Yep."

She then told viewers of her video: “He kept trying to have a conversation but she asked me to block him then.”

Commenters on the clip were shocked by the man's actions, with many of them admitting they feel sorry for the woman who initially messaged Trinity.

One person said: "The fact that he ruined 3 years in a minute … it’s so heartbreaking, I hope she’s okay. She deserves better."

While another added: "It's so disappointing that we rarely see anyone pass these tests. Why are people like this?"

And a third wrote: "These loyalty tests give me more and more reasons to stay single."
