'I have started seeing some light in the dark tunnel': Rishabh Pant shares high-intensity workout video

NEW DELHI: Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant, who is currently in the process of recovering from a deadly car accident, is actively engaged in his rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.

Pant had suffered injuries in a car accident on the Delhi-Dehradun highway near Roorkee in December 2022. The incident resulted in multiple injuries, encompassing a fractured wrist, ankle, toe, back, and a head injury.

Pant, who has been consistently sharing updates regarding his progress with his fans, shared yet another video of his high-intensity workout on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, on Monday.

Thanking god, Pant captioned the video post: "Thankful to god at least I have started seeing some light in the dark tunnel."

Pant, who has displayed commendable advancement in his recuperation journey, has been consistently engaging in gym workouts, he has also incorporated yoga and Pilates into his routine to aid in his recovery process.

While there is currently no definitive timeline for his return to the field, various reports indicate that he is unlikely to participate in any cricketing events throughout 2023.
