I finally tried the Playdate and it was so much fun I left my Switch at home for the first time in years

I never thought I’d see the day but on my last trip, I did something I never thought I would: I left my Nintendo Switch at home.

Ever since I first got my Switch back in 2017, I haven’t left home without it as it’s easy to slip into a backpack and whatever mood you’re in, there’s always something to play among the best Nintendo Switch games. In the same way that the Steam Deck gave PC gamers an excuse to play indie games or smaller titles they might have otherwise overlooked, the Switch did the same thing for me. In fact, it helped reignite my love for video games.
