Pundit Ally McCoist has been left confused by ongoing speculation surrounding Sadio Mane's future at Liverpool.
The Senegalese has been linked with a move away from Anfield this summer and has been the subject of a bid from Bayern Munich. The Bundesliga champions had a £25 million offer rejected earlier this week.
Mane's desire to leave Liverpool has dominated the headlines following the Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid last month. But if he's to secure a move, Bayern will need to present a much improved offer closer to the Reds' valuation of the player.

Former Scotland international McCoist is puzzled by the reports and insists Mane is already at 'one of the best teams in Europe'.
“Why would he want to leave? Somebody will have to explain to me why he’d want to leave Liverpool and go, I don’t know, to Germany,” the pundit said on talkSPORT.
“I get it, I get that Bayern Munich are a massive club, I get the whole thing. But you’re playing in the best league in the world, without doubt for one of the two best teams in the league and one of the best teams in Europe. I don’t get it.”
The 30-year-old is about to enter the final year of his contract at Liverpool, as is Mohamed Salah. Although, much of the conversation in the media surrounding extensions has centred around the Egyptian.
Mane scored 23 goals and registered five assists in all competitions for Liverpool last term. He also won the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal and scored the winning penalty to book their place at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Speaking on his future last week, he told reporters ahead of their AFCON qualifier against Benin: “Isn't it between 60 to 70% of Senegalese want me to leave Liverpool? I will do what they want. We will see soon! The future will tell us.”
