Stacey Solomon has said she “worries so much” about sharing her luxury holiday pictures online during the cost of living crisis.
The Loose Women star recently went on an elaborate family holiday to Abu Dhabi, and posted images of the getaway with her millions of followers on Instagram.
However, the 33-year-old admitted that she was worried if sharing snaps of the trip online was the right move amid so many Brits currently struggling to make ends meet.
During a Q+A on her Instagram stories, one fan wrote: “Not a question but love seeing all your content.”
Solomon replied: “So many of these messages and they really mean a lot.
“I worry so much sharing sometimes because I know it’s really [rubbish] out there for lots of people and holidays are super expensive & lots of people are unable to go.
“So I’d never want to make anyone feel rubbish. But all of your lovely messages have just made me so happy and so glad I shared it all with you guys.”
The star, who has 5.6 million followers on Instagram, is often considered one of a handful of celebrities that receives praise for keeping things realistic on social media.
She regularly posts unedited pictures and videos, and discusses the highs and lows of motherhood.
The TV host enjoyed the recent trip with husband Joe Swash, 41, and their children Rex, three, Rose, one, and Belle who was born in February this year.
Her children Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 11, from previous relationships, and her father David were also on the holiday.
While fans were generally thrilled with the snaps and video montage of the trip, there were some who showed exactly why Solomon had concerns about sharing.
One follower wrote: “I find it hard to look at a lot of your content because I wish I had a beautiful home, husband and life and I feel envy when I see yours.
“But I watch and follow you because you really are a fabulous, warm, energetic, nurturing mother.”
Another wrote: “Must be nice to have the means to run away from it all with such a large family! I only have two and can barely afford a caravan trip lol.”
While a third commented: “If you weren’t as lovely as you are and I didn’t know you weren’t always in this position, this might be hard to look at, but I’m happy for you.”
However, the presenter said it wasn’t all a big spending spree as she shared money-saving tips from the trip during the Q+A session.
She revealed that she travelled to the UAE country with snacks from home, and was on half-board and only ate out at a restaurant once.
