Hyundai Stops Palisade Sales, Recalls 68,500 SUVs After Fatal Incident

THE BREAKDOWN:

• Hyundai has stopped selling certain trims of the 2026 Hyundai Palisade after a two-year-old child died in an incident involving the SUV’s power seats.  
• The recall affects 68,500 Palisade Limited and Calligraphy models.
•  Hyundai is issuing an over-the-air software update as an interim fix.
