HYDERABAD: A mechanic was electrocuted at Mallapur in Nacharam on Saturday. The deceased was Amir (20), from Surya Nagar in Mallapur. Amir along with his brothers, Moula and Abdul, have been operating Tajuddin mechanic shed at Mallapur.
At 11 am on Friday, a goods carrier auto with a load of flexis, came for repair. Amir went out of the shed to give directions to the driver for parking the vehicle. When Amir told the driver to reverse the auto by tapping on the trolley, the iron rods of the flexis came in contact with the live wires of an adjacent electric transformer. Amir suffered a jolt and he was declared brought dead at a nearby hospital. A case was registered.
