The Hobart Hurricanes hit the right notes for a maiden Big Bash League title - and they've essentially got the same band back together in their back-to-back quest.

Big-hitter Tim David inked a new two-year deal with the franchise on Tuesday, joining several re-signings ahead of the league's December start.
