The NHC has issued a caution that Beryl is expected to strengthen further and is likely to become a hurricane before making landfall on the Texas coast early Monday. However, a significant weakening is anticipated after it hits land.

Currently, the center of Tropical Storm Beryl is positioned approximately 75 miles south-southeast of Matagorda, Texas, and is moving in a north-northwest direction at a speed of 10 miles per hour. The NHC has issued the following warnings:
- A storm surge warning is in effect for Mesquite Bay to Sabine Pass, including Matagorda Bay and Galveston Bay.
- A hurricane warning has been issued for the Texas coast from Mesquite Bay northward to Port Bolivar.
- A tropical storm warning is in place for the Texas coast south of Mesquite Bay to Port Mansfield, and the Texas coast north of San Luis Pass to Sabine Pass.
