Hurricane Milton is causing concern for Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister as it approaches the Tampa Bay area. The sheriff is particularly worried about the potential for flash flooding, storm surge, and debris accumulation.

According to Chronister, the combination of heavy rainfall, storm surge of up to 12 feet, and strong winds could lead to significant flooding in the region. This poses a serious threat to the safety of residents and first responders.
