A wellness retreat with a cedar hot tub, float tanks, ice baths and a barrel sauna is on the market in Broke listed with a guide of $4 million.
The Wellness Farm, which is set on 37 acres at 130 Hill Street, is for sale via expressions of interest with Cain Beckett at Jurd's Real Estate.
The property includes a five-bedroom homestead as well as a three-bedroom Hamptons-style cottage, six one-bedroom self-contained villas and a lakehouse studio.
The Wellness Farm is the brainchild of Simon and Rachel Hockings who discovered the property (previously the Lakehouse Guest Villas) during a gap year exploring the East Coast with their children in 2020.
The couple purchased the property in 2021 and transformed the existing accommodation into a first-class wellness retreat that opened earlier this year featuring facilities such as cedar hot tubs, magnsium float tanks, ice baths and a barrel sauna.
"The owners purchased it 12 months ago and they have completely refurbished and refurnished the exisitng accommodation," Mr Beckett said.
He said the retreat regularly hosts bookings for yoga and wellness workshops.e
"It could be run as normal accommodation property but the current owners focus on yoga retreats where the estate is rented out as a whole," he said.
"They also cater for rehabilitation and have a whole lot of equipment on site for that including infrared saunas and magnesium float tanks."
One year after launching The Wellness Farm, the couple is selling the property and the business to move their family back to living on the coast.
They previously owned a physiotherapy business on the Central Coast.
Features of the property include the lake house which opens directly onto the water and the five-bedroom American prairie-style homestead.
The Hamptons-style cottage offers three bedrooms, a large open living space with high cathedral ceilings and a private veranda.
Each of the six villas is fully self-contained and offer king beds, kitchenette, a lounge, a full bathroom (two of the villas have spas) and a private patio.
The property also features a newly constructed wellness shed complete with a gymnasium, magnesium float tanks and pilates reformer machines.
The site also features an inground pool and established shade trees.
"We have had a lot of interest in the property," he said.
"It is for sale via expressions of interest and $4 million is what they are looking for."
The property previously sold for $2.95 million in November 2021.
