Graham Stuart has been reappointed as Climate Minister in Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's new government.
Liz Truss had appointed the Humber MP to the key role within the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy in her short-lived occupancy of 10 Downing Street.
Mr Stuart, who will attend Cabinet meetings, had been serving briefly under Jacob Rees-Mogg as Business and Energy Secretary, following Kwasi Kwarteng’s elevation to Chancellor. That role has now been taken by Grant Shapps, a long-serving Transport Secretary prior to this summer's political turbulence, following Mr Rees-Mogg's departure.

The Beverley and Holderness representative was first elected in 2005, having previously served as a local councillor in Cambridge, where he went to university and chaired the Cambridge University Conservative Association. In government he has chaired the Education Select Committee, served as assistant whip to Theresa May and went on to spend three years in international trade roles.
Mr Stuart said: "I am delighted to have been reappointed as Minister of State for Climate by the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, and look forward to working with Grant Shapps to deliver net zero in the way which best boosts jobs and prosperity."
Elsewhere in roles with a business focus, Kemi Badenoch becomes Trade Secretary, Mark Harper becomes Transport Secretary , Michelle Donelan is reappointed as Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and after a brief gap after being fired by flailing Prime Minister Boris Johnson in July, Michael Gove's returns to Levelling-Up. One of his last visits in the job saw him take in the Humber skills provision. Therese Coffey has moves from Health Secretary to head up Defra, with Mel Stride Work and Pensions Secretary. Andrew Griffith is reappointed as City Minister and Economic Secretary to the Treasury, with John Glen as Chief Secretary.
