Human remains have been found at a recycling plant in Leeds, West Yorkshire Police have confirmed. At just before 10am on Monday, October 31, body parts were found at Skelton Skips, a waste recycling firm in Leeds.
West Yorkshire Police are now investigating the circumstances. Forensic officers attended the site and were seen working until the evening.
The Mirror reported that workers were horrified when they made the discovery. One worker, who did not want to be named told The Sun: "As far as I know body parts have been found in one of the skips.

“Obviously, once it was spotted the police were immediately called. It’s very disturbing and shocking and sad and scary.”
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "At 9.57am on Monday, police received a report of human remains having been found at a waste recycling firm, in Knowsthorpe Way, Leeds. Officers are attending the scene to assess the remains and establish the circumstances."
Several police and crime scene investigation vehicles were seen at the plant in Knowsthorpe Way.
