Huge whale washes up on East Lothian beach as public urged to keep dogs away

East Lothian Edinburgh North Berwick

A whale has sadly been washed up on the shores of a beach in East Lothian.

On Sunday morning, May 7, the local council issued a warning to those planning on visiting the beach in North Berwick.

The minke whale was 'badly decomposed' and a cordon was put in place while arrangements were made to remove it safely.
