The seven-year-old, who attends the autism unit at St Aidan's National school in Enniscorthy, having been diagnosed at age 3 with Austism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), has had a rocky start to life.
Linda described Noah or Noahie as the family call him, as "strong, funny, beautiful, a rascal and amazing boy who is the stamp of his dad, and his brother Alex's best friend."
"He is adored by his mam, his sisters Leanne and Sarah, all our families and extended families," she added.
Noah's tumour was successfully removed after surgery in Temple Street Children's Hospital and the family are happy to report a recent lumbar puncture has shown to be clear.
His aunt Linda explained that her nephew Noah is heading to Essen in Germany, where he will get specialist treatment called proton therapy, which is a type of radium therapy to treat cancerous tumours and prevent their return.
After a six-week stay there, he will return to Ireland for 5 to 6 months of chemotherapy.
"He has a long and tough road ahead. We are hopeful and positive that these therapies will help prevent the return of this type of tumour or cancer in Noah," Linda said.
The HSE and the Gavin Glynn Foundation cover the cost of the treatment, transport and accommodation in Germany.
The GoFundMe, which has so far, raised over €16,000 has been created to raise the living expenses for Noah's parents Vinny and Jackie who will both leave their jobs so that the family can stick together while Noah receives vital medical care. Alex (10), who is Noah's brother will also travel.
"We are not asking for a lot, we fully understand that everyone has their responsibilities and pressures in life so whatever you wish to donate will be greatly welcomed and never forgotten.
"We hope none of you ever have this experience for you or your families and we wish you all good health always and send our thanks once again to you," the GoFundMe states.
