A huge police presence was pictured in Gorton on Tuesday morning (May 23) after a series of raids saw drugs, wads of cash and stolen vehicles seized.
Greater Manchester Police executed three warrants at around 5.30am following intelligence gathering by officers in the neighbourhood policing team in recent weeks. Two properties were raised on Jetson Street, with another nearby on Claymore Street.
Suspected class A drugs synonymous with supply were seized, significant quantities of cash and other suspected drug paraphernalia.

Five vehicles, all thought to have been stolen, were also seized by officers, including a motorbike, off-road bike and mini-quad bike. A car thought to have been stolen in a burglary was also taken away for forensic examination.
Several people were arrested, including two men and a woman, aged 25, 17 and 39, on suspicion of possession with intent to supply. Another man, aged 37, was arrested on suspicion of suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.
Further arrests were also made on suspicion of public order offences and obstructing police as part of the work to tackle anti-social behaviour in the area.
Inspector Daniel Pickavance, from GMP’s Gorton Neighbourhood Team, said: “These warrants today come in connection to our ongoing work to tackle anti-social behaviour in Gorton and to keep the streets safe. The three searches produced some excellent results and I hope this shows that we are committed to taking action where it’s needed.
“We want the community to know that we have zero tolerance for anti-social behaviour and the many strands that come from it – whether that’s drug-dealing, theft, burglary, graffiti – if it matters to you, it matters to us."
Concerned local residents are being urged to contact police by calling 101, visiting GMP’s site, or by contacting Crimestoppers.
