Firefighters are battling to extinguish a blaze at a property in Grangemouth. Up to six fire appliances raced to the scene in Brooke Lane in the town at 9.25pm, with one casualty currently being treated by paramedics.
Fire officers are using breathing apparatus and specialist hoses to try and extinguish the fire. The incident led to crews from across Central Scotland racing to the scene.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) spokesperson said: "At around 9.25pm we were called to reports of a dwelling fire at Brooke Lane in Grangemouth.
"There are six fire appliances at the scene and a support vehicle at the scene.
"There are also currently breathing apparatus and hose reel jets at work as officers try to extinguish the fire.
"Officers from Falkirk, Bo'ness, Linlithgow, Bathgate, Larbert and Liberton are all on the ground.
"At the moment there is one casualty who is being attended to by paramedics at the scene."
