Huge delays are being reported on the A77 this afternoon after a tractor and trailer smashed into traffic lights on the Whitletts roundabout.
The crash took place just before 11am with traffic reportedly heavy following the incident on Ayr's busiest route.
Police say that there are no injuries reported and that the vehicle has been removed from the road.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made of a tractor and trailer having struck traffic lights at the Whitletts Roundabout in Ayr around 10.40am on Tuesday, October 25.
"There are no reported injuries and the vehicle has been removed from the road."
Inrix is reporting that traffic was heavy on the roundabout shortly after the smash.
