Egypt manager Hossam Hassan has revealed Celtic winger Haissem Hassan is injured and out of his country's upcoming games.
Celtic splashed out a fee of up to £9 million to land the 24-year-old player from Real Oviedo and he's already made nine appearances for the Scottish champions and started five of them.
He was in the squad to play in his country's two African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and South Sudan before a friendly in Cairo against South Africa.
But he has been left out of the team after his country's manager revealed an unspecified injury has ruled him out.
Hassan said: "Haissem Hassan is receiving intensive treatment just now.
"But I am not worried about his absence because we have a lot of excellent players to replace him.

"Haissem is a vital technical asset for our long-term vision, but his recent injury made it impossible for him to join us for this camp.
"We prioritise player health and full physical recovery above all else and we expect him back once he is 100 per cent fit.
"We cannot halt our progress or make excuses because of injuries. The secret to our success lies in navigating these difficulties, and I assure everyone that the team are fully ready."
