Firefighters are currently battling a huge blaze after a reported 'explosion' at a Scots farm.
Crews rushed to Myreside Farm in Inverkeilor, Angus, after being alerted to the fire at 5.48pm. Four fire engines, a water carrier, and a hose reel jet were deployed to the scene to contain the flames.
Locals reported hearing a 'huge explosion' before seeing smoke billow into the sky.
One person said: "Oh, big fire and explosions just behind my garden, hope everyone is okay." Another added: "The explosion was so powerful I felt it at Lunan Church as I was going home."
Dramatic video footage, shared with the Record by Kenny Thorkildsen, shows a huge blaze erupting at the farm as thick pockets of smoke spread into the sky. Police confirmed they are also in attendance and have asked nearby residents to keep their windows closed.
There are no reported injuries.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "We were called at 5:48pm to reports of a fire within a farm building. Four appliances, a water carrier, and a hose reel jet are in attendance at the scene.
"There are no reported injuries."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers are assisting Scottish Fire and Rescue Service following reports of a fire near Inverkeilor in Angus. Residents are asked to keep windows and doors closed.
"Motorists are asked to avoid the area."
