Hucknall hit and run car mounted pavement before crashing into man walking to work

A hit and run car mounted a pavement and crashed into a pedestrian - leaving him with a broken arm. It happened as the man was walking to work along Annesley Road in Hucknall.

Police are appealing for the public’s help in identifying the vehicle and the driver after the incident on Saturday, May 6 at around 4.45am. The car is reported to have mounted the kerb and hit the victim at speed before driving away.

The 49-year-old was taken to hospital with bruising, cuts, and a broken arm. Anyone who saw what happened or has dashcam footage is being urged to come forward.
