Tottenham Hotspur leapfrogged bitter rivals Arsenal by beating Newcastle United 5-1 to go fourth in the Premier League.
Spurs were forced to come from behind at home after Fabian Schar's free-kick found a way past Hugo Lloris, giving the Magpies a shock lead late in the first half. Four minutes later, however, the hosts levelled through Ben Davies before Matt Doherty gave Antonio Conte's team the advantage shortly after half-time. Heung-min Son then got on the scoresheet and was followed by unlikely goal-getter Emerson Royal, who sealed the hard-earned win before Steven Bergwijn made it five late on.
The result puts Tottenham above Arsenal on goal difference but the Gunners have two games in hand, meaning they remain favourites to finish behind third-place Chelsea and qualify for the Champions League. Meanwhile, West Ham United's narrow victory over Everton put them above Manchester United, who could only manage a "pathetically slow" 1-1 draw with Leicester City on Saturday.
Ahead of Arsenal's trip to Crystal Palace on Monday night, Mirror Football takes a look at where each team stands heading into the final stretch of a thrilling season.

Almost sure to secure a Champions League place, a humiliating 4-1 defeat at home to Brentford on Saturday dramatically halted the Blues' imperious form, having won six on the bounce prior to the international break. Thomas Tuchel's side have been showed up to be well away from title contention throughout the course of the campaign. Still, finishing third should be doable from here, especially with a game in hand on fourth-placed Spurs.

The form team when it comes to those battling it out for fourth, Spurs are finally loving life under Conte. The January additions of Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski have buoyed Tottenham, who were previously considering outsiders for Europe's elite competition. That being said, there's a long way to go and the unscheduled north London derby is set to have a big say.

Awaiting their first match post-international break, the Gunners are who most punters are tipping to snatch fourth spot. Mikel Arteta's men have 10 games remaining, the most of any team in the top seven, while also having no cup competitions to distract them. The north London derby - again - will be crucial, but Arsenal have enough chances not to worry what happens that night.
West Ham
Current position: 6th
Points: 51 (+11 goal difference)

Battling away while balancing a superb Europa League run, David Moyes and co won't give up in the league. A ground-out win against Everton on Sunday afternoon saw them show further resilience in what has been a testing term in the east of the capital. Expected to fade away and with only seven games remaining - the least of any sides challenging - the Irons will be fired up to prove us wrong again.

Finally, the most talked-out team: Manchester United. The Red Devils appear to be doing their best to give everyone else a chance of finishing fourth, consistently slipping up when the chance to build some momentum arises. Nevertheless, a team with Cristiano Ronaldo in it will always stand a chance. As for most of United's other players, supporters are hardly confident.
