The USMNT are at their first World Cup for eight years, with hopes of reaching the latter stages of the tournament which takes place in Qatar this November and December.
Gregg Berhalter's side have been drawn in a tough group, with England, Wales and Iran all vying for the two qualification spots in Group B. The USA are the favourites alongside England and will have high hopes of reaching the knockout stages with their young and exciting squad which includes players like Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie and Brenden Aaronson.
Elsewhere in the tournament, Brazil and Argentina are among the favourites from South America, with the end of their domestic season coinciding with the beginning of the tournament. In addition, France, Germany and Spain will all be travelling to Qatar with confidence as they hope to add to recent successes.
