The first game of the 2023 Rugby World Cup’s fourth matchweek takes place this afternoon between Uruguay and Namibia.
Both teams are without a point in Pool A, where they were always expected to be the whipping boys alongside Italy, New Zealand and France.
Namibia have never won a World Cup fixture in six previous trips to the competition, whereas Uruguay have at least avoided the wooden spoon in their pool on a number of occasions.
It was the South Americans who came out on top in this fixture only last month, as they faced off in a warm-up game that ended 26-18.
Having pushed France and Italy to a decent extent in their defeats so far, Uruguay are favourites to secure the victory today.
