The festive season simply does not feel right without the Call the Midwife Christmas special taking pride of place on the TV schedule, and this year is no exception.
In even better news, a tradition started by the show last Christmas is set to continue this year, and there will be not one, but two special editions of the beloved show to look forward to.
Both will be an hour long, and the first will air at 8:15pm on Christmas Day and the second will follow on Boxing Day at 8:30pm.
Although Jenny Agutter (Sister Julienne) has hinted at some "troubling" times for our Poplar favourites this Christmas, you can still expect an excellent dose of nostalgia and some magical, festive happiness.
The Order's branch House in Kowloon has collapsed, leaving multiple fatalities. Sister Julienne heads up an emergency rescue mission to help survivors.
For those left behind in Poplar, Sister Catherine (Molly Vevers) cares for expectant mothers living in an Irish Travellers camp. She also cares for a lady called Queenie, whose backstory could bring a few tears to viewers' eyes.

Natalie Quarry who plays Rosalind Clifford in the beloved series, has spoken about what Christmas in Poplar might look like for her character.
"You get to see Rosalind let her hair down a bit, which she doesn't do that much," she says, adding, "because she's a well-behaved midwife. It’s nice to see the characters play around in that different space without the nuns present."
The last season of the show hinted at blossoming romance between Rosalind and Cyril, and fans are hoping this could really develop over the festive period.
Zephryn Taitte who takes the role of Cyril, might just have given fans the intel they need about the couple's relationship.
When asked about Cyril's story in the Christmas special, the actor said, "Cyril reflects on his life and the future, especially with himself and Rosalind."
It reminds Cyril of the important things in life and who you spend time with. It’s a lovely Christmas story."
