The PFL’s 2024 postseason starts this week with PFL Playoffs 1, which features heavyweights and women’s flyweights in attempts to reach the $1 million fina.

PFL 2024 Playoffs 1 takes place Friday at Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn.
The prelims stream on ESPN+ at 6 p.m. ET. The main card airs on ESPN and streams on ESPN+ at 9 p.m. ET.
Heavyweight: Goltsov vs. Johnson
The top seed at heavyweight this year is Denis Goltsov (34-8), who was the only one of the big men to get two finishes in the regular season. He stopped Linton Vassell in the third round in his first fight of the year, then knocked out Thiago Santos in less than half a round to hit 10 points and the No. 1 spot. He takes on Tim Johnson (18-9), who got into the playoffs by virtue of just one regular season fight: a first-round finish of Danilo Marques.
Heavyweight: Popov vs. Vassell
In the 2-3 seed position is Oleg Popov (18-1), whose 8 points were good enough for second in the standings. He was set to take on No. 3 Valentin Moldavsky, but now meets Linton Vassell (25-9) – who went 1-1 in the regular season for just 3 points. But he got a back door in, and hops into Moldavsky’s original matchup.
Women's flyweight: Ditcheva vs. Bishop
Dakota Ditcheva (12-0) cruised to the No. 1 seed with first-round knockouts of Lisa Mauldin and Chelsea Hackett, good for 12 points. She gets Jena Bishop (7-1), who had just one regular season win, but made it count with a first-round finish for 6 points to snag the No. 4 seed.
Women's flyweight: Santos vs. Carmouche
Along with Ditcheva, Taila Santos (21-3) and Bellator women’s flyweight champion Liz Carmouche (22-7) went 2-0 in the regular season. Santos’ 9 points have her at the No. 2 seed, and she’ll take on the always-tough Carmouche for a chance to reach the $1 million final.
