The World Darts Championship begins tonight as the best players on the planet descend upon London’s iconic Alexandra Palace.
Michael Smith finally claimed the sport’s biggest prize back in January, beating Michael van Gerwen in one of the most thrilling matches in darts history.
While Van Gerwen returns, Luke Humphries is the favourite for this year’s crown after winning three majors in 2023, beating the Dutchman in the Players Championship Finals.
Van Gerwen, however, cannot be discounted as he attempts to hunt down a fourth title in his glittering career.
Here’s how to keep across the tournament over the festive period and beyond.
