How to watch Paris Saint-Germain vs Chelsea: TV channel and live stream for Champions League today

Chelsea visit Paris Saint-Germain for a Champions League last-16 grudge match on Wednesday night.

In the Club World Cup final last summer, the Blues pulled off a major 3-0 underdog victory over PSG less than two months after the French club became champions of Europe for the first time.

That result took a little shine off an otherwise stellar season for the Parisians, and tempers boiled over at full-time with PSG boss Luis Enrique engaged in a heated altercation with Chelsea’s then newly-signed forward Joao Pedro.

Fast forward eight months and Enrique’s crew are - predictably - top of Ligue 1, but they’ve failed to impress so far in their quest to retain their European crown.

An 11th-placed finish in the league phase necessitated a two-legged knockout play-off tie with Monaco, who had a man sent off in each game but still pushed their domestic rivals to an aggregate score of 5-4.

Chelsea, meanwhile, secured automatic progression to this stage despite winning just a game more in the league phase and dropping points against Qarabag and Atalanta.

A key part of the Londoners’ success under Liam Rosenior has been Pedro, who was praised as a “world-class striker” by his manager and now has 18 goals to his name across all competitions this term.

The Brazilian’s form alone will give Rosenior confidence of achieving a result in the French capital, as will the likely return of a few faces from injury.

Still, Chelsea - notably ill-disciplined this season, and leaky at the back on occasion - will expect to have their hands full coping with PSG’s own stars.
