How to watch Nurnberg vs Arsenal: Live stream, UK kick-off time and TV details for friendly

Mikel Arteta's Arsenal stars will face their first test when they come up against Nurnberg on Friday afternoon.

The Gunners travelled to Germany earlier this week as their pre-season preparations get underway. Arsenal take on Nurnberg first, before jetting off to America where they will face Everton, Orlando City and Chelsea. Their final pre-season fixture is at home to Sevilla in the Emirates Cup before a Premier League curtain raiser away to Crystal Palace.

Arteta will get a chance to check out this summer's transfers while on pre-season. So far the Gunners have added Matt Turner, Fabio Vieira, Gabriel Jesus and Marquinhos to their squad, while also tying down Eddie Nketiah on a new deal.

And some may feature today. Full details of Arsenal's friendly below...

What time is Nurnberg vs Arsenal?

Arsenal take on the 2 Bundesliga side on Friday, July 8. Their season actually kicks off next week so it's good preparation for the German outfit.

The contest will take place at Nurnberg's home Max-Morlock-Stadion. Used during the 2006 World Cup, the ground has impressive capacity of 50,000.

The friendly will kick-off 4.30pm UK time.

How to watch

Given it's just a pre-season friendly the fixture will not be televised in the UK. However, Arsenal fans will still be able to view the contest on the club's official website for a fee of £5.99.

Who's playing?

Jesus, Marquinhos and Turner should all get their first run outs as Arsenal players. Vieira is struggling with a foot injury and is unlikely to be involved. He was previously spotted with a protective boot at Arsenal's London Colney training ground but was also seen without it in Germany.

Elsewhere, Tierney has recovered following successful surgery and is with the rest of the squad in Germany. It is not clear how fit he will be, though.
