Manchester United travel to Everton this afternoon looking for their second victory of the campaign.
Michael Carrick’s men earned their first win of the term with a 5-2 triumph over Ipswich Town.
They were beaten by Hull City in their opening day in a shock result, while the Toffees have a win and a draw to open their season.
The Merseysiders beat Crystal Palace in their first match, and then drew with Bournemouth last time out.
United were poor in the first half against Ipswich but put in a marked improvement in the second half at Old Trafford.
Bruno Fernandes netted a hat-trick, with a Jacob Greaves own goal and Bryan Mbeumo completing the scoring for the home side.
The Red Devils will be hoping to build on their third-placed finish last term, with a return to Champions League football potentially throwing a spanner in the works for Carrick’s preparations for the campaign.
