How to watch Arsenal vs Atletico Madrid: TV channel and live stream for Champions League today

Arsenal lock horns with Atletico Madrid once again in a huge Champions League semi-final decider at the Emirates Stadium tonight.

The Gunners welcome Atletico to north London for the second leg knowing that any margin of victory will be enough to secure only their second-ever appearance in a Champions League final.

Remarkably, it’s 20 years since Arsenal were last in the final of this competition as they were denied being crowned champions of Europe for the first time ever by Spanish opposition in Barcelona.

Tonight, another Spanish side stands in their way of history.

Despite breaking the deadlock shortly before half-time in the first leg thanks to a Viktor Gyokeres penalty, Mikel Arteta's side were pegged back after the break as Julian Alvarez slammed home his spot-kick after Ben White was adjudged to have handled the ball in the area.

More controversy followed as Arteta was left fuming at VAR’s decision to overturn a penalty for his side after the referee initially pointed to the spot for a foul on Eberechi Eze.

Ultimately the first leg ended all square to leave this semi-final delicately poised and Atletico know they have the firepower to cause an upset, just like they did against Barcelona on the quarter-final.

Interestingly, Arsenal and Atletico met in the league phase earlier in the season, with the Gunners winning 4-0 at the Emirates as Gyokeres netted twice during a devastating 15-minute spell.

The winners will advance to the final to face either Bayern Munich or holders Paris Saint-Germain.
