How to unlock 1911 Pistol in Black Ops 7 & Warzone

The legendary 1911 pistol is making its return in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 3. While it’s a classic handgun, this version is a heavy hitter, boasting the highest damage-per-shot and effective range in its class.

How to unlock the 1911 in BO7 and Warzone

Unlike the new MK35 ISR AR and VST SMG, the 1911 pistol is not part of the Season 3 Battle Pass. Instead, it’s a reward from the Season 3 Weekly Challenges. The pistol is expected to be tied to the Week 2 or 3 challenge set, following the first week’s reward, the Ion Core scorestreak.

To unlock the 1911 once it becomes available, you need to complete six weekly challenges. The good thing is that these can be done across multiple modes: BO7 Multiplayer, Zombies, Co-Op/Endgame, and Warzone. This flexibility lets you mix and match challenges to unlock the handgun more efficiently, whether you prefer grinding MP or tackling easier objectives in BR and other modes. Completing the required challenges will also reward you with 10,000 XP.

According to Activision, the 1911 has the highest damage per shot and one of the best effective ranges among all handguns. While it does come with noticeable recoil, it recenters quickly, enabling you to stay on target and land follow-up shots with ease.

If you want to push its performance further, you can increase its fire rate using its Prestige Attachment, the MFS Overdrive Auto-Brake muzzle.

For Zombies players, the 1911 becomes even more powerful once upgraded via the Pack-a-Punch machine. You can transform it into the fan-favorite Mustang and Sally variants, turning the pistol into a dual-wield explosive weapon that’s highly effective for clearing hordes of undead.
